- Scared of infection? GGD certification – officially licensed and inspected for hygiene by the GGD (Dutch public health service), and that inspection is repeated every three years. And we work with sterile single-use tools.

Do I need an appointment?
No – walk-ins are always welcome. You can also book online to reserve your preferred time.
Is it safe to get pierced here?
Absolutely. We’re fully GGD-certified, and follow the highest hygiene standards in the industry. All tools and materials are sterile and individually packed. Cartilage is pierced with a hollow needle; earlobes can also be done with a sterile single-use piercing gun.
Do you use safe jewelry materials?
Yes. We only use implant-grade titanium, solid gold, or medical-grade surgical steel. No cheap coatings or nickel. For a fresh piercing titanium is best. Want that gold glow straight away? Then we usually use a titanium bar with a gold top. Our gold pieces have a titanium internal thread, because a gold thread wears out quickly. Have a look at our first titanium & gold piercings.
Can tourists get pierced?
Yes! Just bring a valid passport or ID. We regularly work with international visitors from all over the world.
Can I get pierced if I'm under 18?
Between 12 and 16? Then you come with a parent. From 16 you can come on your own. More on our minimum age page.
How much does it hurt?
Most clients describe the sensation as fast and manageable. Our piercers are trained to guide you calmly through the process.
How long does a piercing take to heal?
Healing time depends on the location, but typically ranges from 6–12 weeks. We’ll give you full aftercare instructions and support. You can read them again any time in our aftercare instructions.
Please note: all times mentioned are an indication. Healing is very personal: for some people it goes faster, for others it takes a little longer.
Do I need to come back?
Yes, and that's a good thing. Your first bar is longer and is later swapped for a shorter one. Just pop back into the studio for that, and we'll check how your piercing is doing at the same time. Once it's healed, pick your next piece in the studio or in our webshop (we ship to the Netherlands and Belgium only). And maybe start planning your next piercing.
