Ear stories from our studio
Face & body
Placement that fits the trip
Helix, tragus, daith, rook, nostril, tongue, navel — popular with visitors, but anatomy and your next weeks matter more than trends.
Orientation: tongue about 6–8 weeks; many cartilage and navel piercings around 6 months.
Jewellery for a fresh piercing
Ask for sterile single-use needles and jewellery suitable for a new piercing. Upgrades when you want them — never as pressure.

Travel & aftercare
A new piercing is a wound. Dutch national guidance includes: touch it little, keep it dry after cleaning, avoid tight/dirty clothing over it, and skip hot tubs, swimming pools, saunas and steam baths while it heals. Don’t remove jewellery yourself. Worried about healing? Contact a doctor.
