3 November is National Accessory Day. At Piercings Works Amsterdam, this day is about one thing: the small piece of jewellery that makes all the difference.
Two millimetres. Twenty minutes of deliberation.
You'd think choosing a tiny piece of jewellery would be quick.
Not with us.
“This one?”
“Hmm.”
“Or this one?”
“Wait… show me the first one again.”
Then we put two little stones side by side.
The difference?
Maybe two millimetres.
To someone standing next to you: practically the same.
To the person who will see it in the mirror every morning:
a completely different life decision.
And somewhere, we get it.
An accessory doesn't have to be big to change a lot.
A little ring in a helix.
A tiny gold top in a tragus.
One stone that suddenly fits the rest of the ear perfectly.
We regularly see people who don't need a new piercing at all.
Just different jewellery.
And then they look in the mirror again and say:
“YES. This one.”
That's why we actually think National Accessory Day is a pretty good day.
Because sometimes style isn't about something big.
Sometimes your whole debate is just two millimetres.

Can I just choose different jewellery, without getting a new piercing?
Sometimes you don't need a new piercing at all, just different jewellery. Feel free to walk in and we'll look together at what suits your ear.
Can I place pieces side by side to compare them?
Of course. Putting two little stones next to each other and comparing them calmly is something we do often. Take your time choosing.
Do I need an appointment?
No, walk-ins are welcome. If you prefer a fixed time, you can book your appointment.
