What if your piercing becomes infected?
In our studio, we always work with sterile instruments, safe materials, and follow the highest hygiene standards. An infection therefore cannot be the result of a mistake in our procedures.
In most cases, an infection occurs due to:
– touching the piercing with unwashed hands
– using the wrong products, such as alcohol, oil, or cream
– not following the aftercare instructions
– bumping or snagging the piercing on clothing or hair
Aftercare is always the client’s responsibility. If you experience any issues, feel free to contact us for advice.
What if your piercing gets caught on clothing or something else?
These are accidents that are beyond our control. We always provide advice on how to prevent this, but ultimately, it’s your responsibility to handle your piercing carefully after it’s been placed.
What if you agreed to the placement of the piercing, but change your mind afterward?
For every piercing, we clearly mark the spot and ask for your approval. We only proceed once you confirm that you are satisfied.
If you change your mind afterward, unfortunately, we cannot undo the procedure. This is not covered by any warranty or refund policy.
What if you removed your piercing yourself and then developed complaints?
If you decide to remove the piercing without consulting us, it may lead to swelling, scarring, or infection. In that case, we cannot be held responsible. Of course, you're always welcome to reach out to us for advice.
What if you lose a ball or part of your piercing jewelry?
Piercing jewelry consists of small parts that can come loose, especially if not regularly checked. Loss of parts is not our responsibility. However, we’re happy to help you replace parts or offer advice.
What if a minor comes in without parental or guardian consent?
We never perform piercings on minors without written consent and the physical presence of a parent or legal guardian.
What if my piercing was placed crooked due to a piercer’s mistake?
In our studio, we work with great care, professionalism, and follow strict hygienic guidelines.
For every piercing, we:
– carefully mark the placement beforehand
– show you the position
– always ask for your clear consent before proceeding
In rare cases, a piercing may end up crooked, poorly positioned, or visibly unbalanced.
If this is due to a technical error on our part, we take full responsibility.
In that case, we offer:
– free removal of the piercing (if necessary)
– aftercare and advice for the healing process
– free re-piercing after full healing
– or appropriate compensation, depending on the situation
Important: Contact us as soon as possible if you think the piercing was not placed correctly. The sooner we know, the better we can help.
When is it not our responsibility?
If the piercing appears crooked only after placement due to:
– swelling
– bumping or sleeping on the piercing
– improper aftercare
– movement during the procedure or ignoring our placement recommendation
– or if you approved the placement but changed your mind afterward
Summary:
We are responsible for a correct, hygienic, and safe execution of the piercing.
You are responsible for the care and handling of the piercing once you leave the studio.
